2024
On September 20th, 2024, in Hanoi, Vietnam, The Asia Credit Reporting Network (ACRN) member meeting 2024 was successfully held with the active participation (online and offline) of not only ACRN members (CIB Nepal, JCIC Taiwan, NCB Thailand, CBC Cambodia, CIC Vietnam, KCIS South Korea) but also observers (CIC Philippines, Credit Bureau Singapore, LCIC Laos, IFC Vietnam, Credit Bureau of Brunei). During the meeting, all participants listened to the members' showcases for updating and sharing information, discussed about the future activities of the Network, then reached the mutual agreement on ACRN upcoming events (5th Conference in Thailand, APEC 2025 side events in South Korea and 2026 Meeting in Nepal). At the meeting, CIC Philippines signed the MOU to become ACRN 11th member.
2023
The 2023 ACRN 4th Conference and General Meeting was held in Jakarta, Indonesia, with representatives from IFC, World Bank, Indonesia Authorities (Minister of the Finance Republic of Indonesia on Macroeconomics and Fiscal Policy, Banking Supervision) and competent financial authorities, including Standard & Poor's Global, Indonesian Institute for Corporate Directorship, Creditinfo, Indonesia Crowdfunding Association, and from credit reporting agencies, including CIC Vietnam, CRIB Sri Lanka, JCIC Taiwan, KCIS Korea, NCB Thailand, CBC Cambodia, and Id Score (PBK) Indonesia, LCIC (Laos). During the Group meeting CBC Cambodia newly joined ACRN as its 10th member and Mr. Cao Van Binh, the Director General of CIC Vietnam, was appointed the 3rd Chairperson of ACRN.
2021
The ACRN General Meeting was held online on Aug. 4, 2021, with representatives from ACRA Malaysia, CIB Nepal, CIC Japan, CIC Vietnam, CRIB Sri Lanka, JCIC Taiwan, KCIS Korea, NCB Thailand, and PBK Indonesia. During the meeting, establishing a set of ACRN articles of association and a secretariat in Seoul, Korea were confirmed, and PBK Indonesia newly joined the ACRN as its 9th member.
2019
The 3rd ACRN Conference was held in Hanoi, Vietnam, with representatives from World Bank and competent financial authorities, including FSC Taiwan, Bank of Lao PDR, MOF Malaysia and Reserve Bank of Fiji, and from credit reporting agencies, including CIC Japan, CIC Vietnam, CRIB Sri Lanka, JCIC Taiwan, KCIS Korea, NCB Thailand, AMBD Brunei, CBC Cambodia, and PBK Indonesia. During the meeting CRIB Sri Lanka newly joined ACRN and Dr. Jiann-jong Guo, the Chairman of JCIC, was appointed the 2nd Chairperson of ACRN.
ACRN Chairperson Dr. Hyunjoon SHIN led the ACRN delegations to support the Asia Credit Reporting Forum, which is held by PT Pefindo Biro Kredit (PBK) and contributed by ACRN, in Jakarta on July 11, 2019.
During the 2019 ACRN Working Member Meeting in Bangkok, Thailand, Dr. Hyunjoon SHIN, the new president of KCIS, was confirmed to take over the remaining term of the 1st ACRN chairperson. The date of the 3rd ACRN Conference was also confirmed to be from September 18 to 20, 2019, in Vietnam. And the conference agenda would include "Why PCR", "Cross-Border Data Exchange for Foreign Worker", "E-KYC", and the 2nd ACRN Chairperson Inauguration ceremony.
2018
The 2nd 2018 ACRN Conference was held in Taipei, Taiwan, with 5 CRA representatives including ACRA Malaysia, AMBD Brunei, CBC Cambodia, CBS Singapore, and Indonesia PBK as well as 6 ACRN members. During the meeting, ACRA Malaysia newly joined ACRN. Mr. Sung Kee Min, the President of KCIS, was appointed the Chairperson of ACRN. The 2019 ACRN Working Member Meeting would be held in Bangkok in March. The 3rd 2019 ACRN Conference would be hosted by CIC (National Credit Information Center, the State Bank of Vietnam) in Hanoi in September.
During the 2018 ACRN Working Member Meeting in Bangkok, Thailand, the date of the 2nd 2018 ACRN Conference was confirmed to be from August 22 to 24, 2018, in Taiwan and the invitees would include CRA representatives and regulators from Asia.
2017
The 1st 2017 ACRN Conference was held in Seoul, South Korea and the ACRN MOU was signed by 6 CRA representatives including JCIC, KCIS, NCB, CIB Nepal, CIC Japan, and CIC Vietnam. The 2nd 2018 ACRN Conference would be hosted by JCIC in Taiwan.
JCIC representatives accompanied ACRN advisor Inkoo Jeon to attend the APEC Conference in Ninh Binh, Vietnam, to discuss the hosting city, program and MOU signing of the 1st ACRN Conference with CIC Vietnam.
The 2017 ACRN Working Member Meeting was held in Bangkok, Thailand,
with 6 CRA representatives including JCIC, KCIS, NCB, BNM*, CIB Nepal, and
CIC Vietnam. During the meeting, the full name of ACRN and the proposed program of the first conference (MOU signing
ceremony, conference topics, and contents of the CRA industry survey) were confirmed.

2016
At the 40th Anniversary Celebration of JCIC and Asia Credit Bureau Seminar, which was held in March, 2015, with representatives from China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, the JCIC proposed to host the Asia credit bureau seminar on a regular basis and to establish the Asia credit bureau association.
During the 10th World Consumer Credit Reporting Conference (WCCRC)
in Toronto, Canada, with the assistance of Mr. Inkoo Jeon, the CEO of PJ
Scoring Science Inc., about 9 credit reporting agencies in Asia agreed on
the need for the establishment of Asia Credit Reporting Network.
During the meeting, JCIC Taiwan, KCIS Korea, and NCB Thailand
volunteered to work as the Working Group to organize meetings and events, and conduct surveys. Mr. Inkoo Jeon was appointed the Advisor to the
group.
The 2016 ACRN Working Group Meeting was held in Seoul, South Korea,
with JCIC, KCIS, and NCB as representatives to discuss the title, functions,
arrangements, and dates of ACRN Conferences.
